Head stylist and owner of Joseph Zell & Company, Joseph was the featured stylist at
Peter Coppola on Madison Avenue in New York City and has been credited in Glamour,
McCall's and Seventeen magazines. The former owner of 5 salons in New Jersey,
Joseph opened Joseph Zell & Company in Wilmington 13 years ago. He holds cosmetology
licenses in 3 states: New York, New Jersey and North Carolina, and was chosen to
train hairstylists for international hair cutting competitions.

Beauty Consultant by the highest rated New Jersey salons, Joseph has also been awarded
honors for initiating trend-setting cutting techniques in New Jersey. His multiple
credentials include studies with Vidal Sassoon and Paul Mitchell, the L'Oreal Color
Institute and the Zotos Perm Institute of New York City as well as numerous other
seminars and private classes from some of the world's finest hair designers.

Chelsea Plemmons
Chelsea Plemmons is a native of Asheville, NC. She was formerly employed by Bella Bella Salon of Charleston, SC. She joined Joseph Zell and Company in 2007 with an extensive background in hair design. By attending National Hair Shows such as the 2008 IBS show in Miami Beach, Florida, she is able to bring knowledge of the latest cuts and colors to her clients. She specializes in Great Length Hair Extensions and current hair fashions. Chelsea strives to create a look that exceeds her clients high expectations.
Dawn Apple
Esthetician Dawn Apple is a Wilmington native and attended Esthetician School at Cape
Fear Community College. She received her Esthetician license in 2003. Formerly
employed at the Spa at Corolla in the Outerbanks, Dawn joined Joseph Zell & Company in 2004.
She has since received advanced training and become certified by exclusive Eminence Organic
Skin Care Products and is now an assistant trainer for Eminence. Dawn specializes in
European facials, deep back cleansing, body wraps, waxing, and lash tinting. Her goal is to pamper and indulge your skin and senses.
Brandy Dixon
Brandy Dixon joined Joseph Zell and Company in September 2007. She has been a licensed esthetician since July 2006. Eminence Organic Skin Care has trained her in the finer aspects of European Facials. Brandy has also had extensive training with organic body wraps, deep back cleansing and scalp massage. She also provides gentle waxing, lash and brow tinting, and Extreme Eyelash Extensions. Her goal is to help every client have healthy and glowing skin. Kim Pereira
Manicurist Kim Pereira holds a graphic design degree from Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. With 15 years of experience giving manicures and pedicures in Connecticut, Kim moved to Wilmington, received her NC Nail Technician certification in 2005 from Cape Fear Community College and joined Joseph Zell & Company. She keeps current and on top of the latest trends through product literature as well as training seminars including Jessica "Natural Nail Manicures", Backscratcher "Silk Wraps" and OPI "Acrylic Overlays".
